Terms of service

Last updated: December 2025

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Guideframe, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the service.

Description of service

Guideframe is a learning platform that creates structured paths from your learning goals. We curate external resources (videos, articles, documentation) and add AI-generated context to help you know what to focus on and why it matters.

User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Guideframe. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content you create within Guideframe, including paths, uploaded documents, and feedback. By using the service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as needed to provide the service.

Resources linked within paths (YouTube videos, articles, documentation) are owned by their respective creators. Guideframe does not claim ownership of third-party content.

If you create public paths, other users may view and personalize them. You retain authorship credit, but you grant Guideframe and its users a license to display and adapt your public paths.

Team workspaces

Team workspaces allow multiple users to collaborate on shared paths and documents. Team administrators are responsible for managing team membership and access.

Content shared within a team workspace is visible to all team members. When you leave a team, you lose access to team-shared content, but your personal account and paths remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Guideframe for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, to distribute malware, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems.

You may not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights, contains malicious code, or violates any applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

AI-generated content

Guideframe uses AI to generate context, explanations, and recommendations based on curated resources. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before relying on it. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and should not be considered professional advice.

Payment and subscriptions

Guideframe offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free accounts have usage limits; paid subscriptions (Pro, Team, Enterprise) unlock additional features and remove limits.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns about billing.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Guideframe may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

Guideframe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Guideframe after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property rights and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
